Lorna Lynne is a singer-songwriter from Ayrshire and has been in the Glasgow and Ayrshire music scene for a few years now. She has played multiple venues across Glasgow including, the SGW3 Poetry Club and, Broadcast.

She has just recently released her first single called Come Back Now and I have just one word for it…. AMAZING! If you haven’t listened to it yet, I highly recommend that you do! Her vocals on the track are ‘melodically soothing’, Lorna’s touching performance and gospel vocals make the listener feel emotional and like the event is happening to them.

The production by Mark Morrow is exceptional with a calming and melodic song with hits of Americana. The simple acoustic instruments in the verse give a nice sonic counterbalance to the elevated chorus. The vocals ooze Celtic overtones and are very reminiscent of Cranberries singer Dolores O’Riordan.
I asked Lorna what the song meant to her, she said that the song was about, “people who waste your time and come back when it's right for them”. This is shown strongly in the lyrics of the chorus:
“You’ve Taken it all,
Watch me as I fall,
Don’t try to catch me now,
I’m already on the ground.”
